Are you worried about eating during the holidays?

Dear Reader,

Can you believe it's holiday time already? If you are like most people, you have some mixed-emotions surrounding the holidays and especially even more this year. I know some of you are looking forward to the holidays to take your mind of the difficult year we have had. I know others of you are dreading them. Either way, you know food is going to be involved. And that makes things even more tricky.

Do you sometimes feel like the woman in the picture? You've got two voices in your head: the one who tells you to eat for pleasure and the one that tells you to eat for health. If you've known me for awhile, you know I'm not going to tell you "what not to eat." I want you to be happy and healthy. I want you to enjoy your food AND meet your health goals.

It really is possible! I'm going to show you how this month during our support group: "Stay Sensible...Not Deprived over the Holidays." I've been helping people for 18 years now. That means 18 years of enduring the holidays while trying to maintain health. I have seen others do it and I would love to show you how.

Hi Reader, This happens to me all the time, and it happened again today. I met with a new client who presented me with all her different health problems. Her cardiologist told her to follow one diet. Her nephrologist told her to follow another diet. And her nurse practitioner told her to follow a different diet. None of them were wrong--they were just addressing only one of her health conditions. So she consulted the internet and became even more confused. "This website says to not eat...
